Mr. Hill moved to Longview, Texas at the age of eight years old, graduating from Pine Tree High School in 1993. Mr. Hill then attended Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas , and received his B.A. in 1997. After graduating from college, Mr. Hill attended graduate school at the University of Texas at Tyler and received his M.B.A. in 1999. After earning his M.B.A., Mr. Hill attended Baylor Law School in Waco, Texas. Mr. Hill received his J.D. in 2003. While at Baylor, Mr. Hill was recognized as the third best overall speaker in the Dawson, Sodd and Beard Moot Court Competition and was a member of the Order of Barristers.

Mr. Hill returned to Longview after completing law school and immediately went to work for Brown McCarroll, where he primarily did litigation defense work for Ford Motor Company, General Electric, and Kelly Moore. Mr. Hill then took a position with Bunt & Wright, another Longview firm, where he continued to develop as a litigator while working on matters for Eastman Chemical Company, local businesses, and various East Texas churches. Mr. Hill also began to utilize his M.B.A. by expanding his expertise to include transactional matters, such as employment consulting, business entity formation, and estate planning. In 2007, Mr. Hill partnered with Jason Holt, a longtime friend, to form the law firm of Hill & Holt, P.L.L.C. in Longview, Texas. While at Hill & Holt, P.L.L.C., Mr. Hill’s practice consisted of defending large and small corporations in a variety of litigation matters, including complex litigation matters, contract disputes, insurance claims, personal injury actions, debt collection matters, and employment issues. Mr. Hill also continued to assist individuals in various transactional matters, including employment consulting, business entity formation, and estate planning.

Mr. Hill is licensed to practice in all state courts in Texas. Mr. Hill is also licensed to practice in federal court in the Eastern District of Texas.

Mr. Hill served as an Associate Municipal Judge for the City of Longview, Texas from 2008 to 2010. Mr. Hill also served as Adjunct Professor of Business Law at LeTourneau University from 2008 to 2009. He has served as President and Vice President for the Longview Teen Court Board of Directors in 2009 and 2008, respectively, and regularly volunteers as coach for his son’s Upwards basketball team.

Most importantly, Mr. Hill is married to Jessi Hill, and is the proud parent of one son, Grayson Hill, and one daughter, Addison Hill.
